LOCATION
Ty Chi is in a rural location, we can experience some animal noise and occasionally noise from grass cutting or other farm machinery or activities.
Flora and fauna: in rural areas, insects and other pests are fairly common and not necessarily an indication of poor housekeeping standards.

Great effort is made to maintain the highest standards of furnishing and fittings. On the very rare occasion when you may experience a shortfall in housekeeping or maintenance, please call us during your stay so that We can try to minimise any inconvenience, discomfort or dissatisfaction.
GUEST DAMAGE

COVID -19 TERMS
We want everyone to be able to enjoy their stay safely. After a miserable few months of cancellations and stress and uncertainty, we have worked hard to draw up procedures that keep us and our staff safe and you as safe as possible, whilst still providing the stay experience for you to enjoy.
The virus does not go away just because you are on holiday. Please maintain Social-Distancing of 2 meters, (Welsh Regulations) and practice good hand hygiene at all times. It is easy to relax these little things whilst on holiday, but we have provided sufficient soap and sanitizer for your use. If you arrive somewhere and it is busy – please go somewhere else! Support local businesses where you can, choosing takeaways where possible. Visitors are so important to the island, but its re-opening needs to be managed in a safe and respectful way.
This summer on Anglesey will be a bit different to previous years, but it can still be a great one!
Before your stay.
14. Please contact us immediately if:
14.1. you, or any of your party, develop symptoms of the Virus
14.2 you have been asked to self-isolate by Contact Tracers
14.3 your area is subject to a localised Lockdown
14.4 In these cases, it is essential that you follow Government Guidelines and DO NOT travel. We will do our best to re-sell your holiday in order to refund you in full, and if we don’t succeed, we will offer a partial refund on production of a positive test result or proof from the Contact Trace team (we’ll know about any local lockdowns!).
We suggest that if at all possible, you be mindful of how close you get to other people in the fortnight leading up to your holiday, as this will greatly reduce the risk of you contracting the virus – quite apart from not wanting you to be ill, we’re sure you have been looking forward to your holiday as much as we have been looking forward to welcoming you!
During your stay
15. If you, or any of your party develop symptoms, you must tell us immediately. We will, in the event, ask you to vacate the property and return immediately to your home address where you must a) seek a Covid -19 Test b) Self Isolate according to Government Guidance.
15.1 If you become too ill to travel home (or do not have the means to arrange transport) you should discuss your circumstances with an appropriate health care professional and if necessary, the Local Authority. You will be liable for any additional time spent at our cottage and any affected subsequent bookings.
15.2 After a confirmed case, we cannot allow anyone into the house for at least 72 hours. We will then need to pay for a deep clean. It is highly likely that this will impact the next booking. We would ask that you be considerate and leave as soon as possible to minimise the disruption.
16. COVID -19 Requirement –it is compulsory that you strip any bedding used leaving the duvet protector and the bottom mattress protector in place. (There will be two fitted to the bed). Place all used bedding in the laundry bags provided and in fine weather place outside the cottage door or in the bath if inclement weather. (all laundry is left for 72 hours before being washed to protect staff). Removing bedding has been identified as the most hazardous aspect of housekeeping for cleaners therefore we insist that Guests do this please.
17. Likewise, please empty the kitchen waste and food bin into the external recycling bins provided. Waste food MUST be bagged in compostable bags provided.
18. You must ensure that all surfaces are wiped down and that all dishes used are either washed or loaded into the dishwasher and selected to wash.
